We are Fortunate to be Able to Give Back

BTIG has been recognized by Wall Street for our philanthropic endeavors and standing in the community. BTIG's most notable event is our Commissions for Charity Day, where the day's commissions are donated to support various not-for-profit organizations that champion efforts against childhood challenges. The event is dedicated to helping better the lives of the youngest and most vulnerable members of society.

On our most recent Commissions for Charity Day in 2011, BTIG raised more than $4 million in a single day. The money was distributed to over 150 children’s charities, including The Michael J. Fox Foundation, The Eli Manning Pediatrics Fund, A Little Hope, Autism Speaks, Make-a-Wish Foundation, Children of Fallen Patriots and Jacob’s Cure. BTIG’s Commissions for Charity Days have raised over $20 million for children’s charities in the past nine years.

In addition to our Commissions for Charity Days, BTIG participates in and sponsors a number of industry events throughout the year, including Capital for Kids in Dallas and regional Hedge Funds Care events in New York, San Francisco, Boston, Denver and Chicago. Giving back and supporting great causes dear to our industry is part of our professional culture.
